As we conclude a seven-day introductory pottery training program for 11 local youth, we would like to thank our partner, Garpawoong Middle Secondary School for the support.
Apart from our children’s meaningful engagement, the program has at least laid the foundation to set a goal for their future skill development.
“Initially, I found it very difficult to get a good balance on the pottery wheel. However, now I am happy that I can make a few products and understand the concept of pottery making,” said Jigme Zangmo, one of the participants.
“I think I got more connected to the soil. It was very fun, but it requires lots of patience and softness to come up with a product. I will continue to learn in the near future,” said Jigme Wangmo, one of the participants.

With overwhelming interest shown by the youth, we are conducting the same program for the 2nd cohort from December 24th to December 30th, 2021.
Further, we also have a month long Zero Waste Craft, Organic Farming, and Product Development training, which will start from December 25th 2021 to January 25th, 2022.
We still have some slots. Please register with us on or before December 24th, 2021, at 17509066.
